XR is IMMERSIVE

XRLibraries began in 2016 installing over 200 Virtual Reality systems in California public libraries.

We work with schools and  libraries integrating  immersive learning into programs and classes .
We make XR easy to use
for everyone.

Meet The Team

John MacLeod

John MacLeod is the executive director of XRLibraries, a leading company integrating XR technology in libraries. Over the last four years he has worked with state and local libraries to implement strategies for deploying augmented, virtual and 360 vr technology and programs.

Over 200 VR systems have been installed in underserved libraries in California and Nevada, making this the largest VR installation in public libraries. He is a partner in Nevada Project SANDI providing Nevada the first-in-the-world career pathways training using  virtual reality. He continues to build a national clearinghouse for libraries to share best practices in the use of XR technologies in libraries.

George Lightfoot

George Lightfoot creates instructional videos and documents for librarians and teachers, if you've watched a video from XR Libraries with voiceover, he's probably the guy who made it. George is also one half of the XR Showcase team and provides on-site and off-site technical support for VR events and programs.

When he's not working, George is either playing a video game, drawing a cartoon, riding The Haunted Mansion, or trying to find more space for his tiki mug collection.

Camila Oates

Camila Oates currates the VR content XR displays, often searching for the newest VR experiences that offer more than gaming and trying those out themselves. Camila also offers on site support for VR events and is one half of the XR Showcase team.

When not working, Camila is playing video games, watching animated shows, enjoying D&D, drawing, and spending time with people they feel close to.

Jenna Duditch

Jenna Duditch runs the social media accounts for XR Libraries and uses adobe to create the marketing material with John. She runs the morning program with a class from Cypress Schools.

When not at work, Jenna is going to school for her RN degree, spending time with friends and family, or outside hiking and playing tennis.
